Candy Floss

Her Life blended in hues of tragic coloring;
Yet she managed to stay this way.
She began to seek pain, and enjoy the suffering,
Dancing to the tunes of her loss each day.

The times, they changed, and the years passed by--
Her agony remained a stable, faithful foe.
The brooks, they froze, and the blooms did dry
Her grudges she dared not let go.

And so she flourished, goddess of grief.
Seeker of pain, lover of loss.
A timeless rage, an existence brief--
Packed in the sweetest Candy Floss.

It was served down streets;
To the rich and poor alike--
The sugary bitterness, it made them go mad;
She began to dwell, and eat out of their psyche.

Enraptured with the unmitigable fury of despair,
They made merry and danced to the tunes of their loss.
Drenched in sheer reticence, devoid of all care--
Consumed by that sweet Candy Floss.
